May 28, 2008 - So my tri-hood died, and I killed off my Royal Kingdom Challenge. I have a couple of theme hoods
in the works, but have decided that play is more important for simming than work right now. I am very much
looking forward to Sims 3 and playing an entire hood is a bit exhausting. So, I've started kinda a legacy challenge
in an empty hood and am playing that. For the most updates on my sims, try my Livejournal account.
Feb. 1, 2008 - So I've been playing with various neighborhoods, and reading other people's blogs. I am thinking
that instead of playing one season per round (and four semesters at college), I may try playing shorter intervals. One
sim day, and four days at college per round. It would mix it up, keep it interesting, and keep everyone in the same
time frame. I didn't want to do this at first, because it seemed like one sim day was too short to get anything done.
Still, I think I will give it a try at the beginning of next round. Also, I have learned about print screen, which should
be helpful for getting my hands on those family trees.
Jan. 28, 2008 - Okay, so I discovered the limitations of playing with the AnyGame Starter, and have restarted my historical
sims game without it. I will be getting Hobbies once it's out and I think it will have many aspects that will be good
in historical settings. Having worked recently on starting up my Star Trek neighborhood in my Modern/Sci-Fi game, I
suddenly switched gears and went Medieval. So I recreated my Kingdom of Goldenbough and have got it up and running.
I've been very inspired by a lot of sources lately, mainly The Isle of Thyme by JadeElliot, and the people on the Royal Kingdom
Challenge yahoo group. Updates will be slow as I'm just figuring out how to work this.
Nov. 20, 2007 - So my sims game died horribly after the Bon Voyage install. I have restarted everything.
Was just too bummed and busy rebuilding to update the site. Also, I discovered the joy of Numenor's Any Game Starter.
It allows me to play different configurations of the game. So this is the new, improved, resurrected sim site.
